ShapeShifters of Houston is a nine-piece rock and classic-rock horn band formed in 1998. The group performs across the Houston and Galveston County area — clubs, hotel ballrooms, country clubs, festivals, and private rooms — and is available for corporate events, private parties, banquets, and galas. Instrumentation includes trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute, electric and acoustic guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, congas, bongos, timbales, and additional percussion. Most members sing. They are a cover band performing the work of the original artists.
