The band
A Houston horn band since 1998.
ShapeShifters of Houston is a nine-piece rock and classic-rock horn band. The group began in 1998 and has played clubs, hotel ballrooms, country clubs, and private rooms across the Houston area for decades. The size of the band is the point. A full horn section. Multiple vocalists. Congas, bongos, timbales. A stage that looks and sounds like a show, not a four-piece plugged into a corner. The repertoire is built to be recognized: music spanning the 1960s through the 2000s, including artists such as Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, David Bowie, Jethro Tull, the Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Beck, Prince, Phil Collins, Steely Dan, and Chicago. They are available for corporate events, private parties, banquets, galas, special events, and public performances.
